Artist's Comments

Sorry it isn't sharper. The spider wasn't intereted on being shot, so it kept moving all the time.

And by the way, it's a single spider (two layered shots).

i am amazed.

What a fantasit shot... or... what fantastic shots I should say. I know how hard it is to shoot a spider. I;ve tried.

Oh gross. I really hate spiders. They are the most disgusting creatures that I have ever seen. I'd rather play with a snake anyday, rather than have to deal with those arachnids. Blech. :P (Lick)

This is a wonderful shot of my favorite species of spider. The jumping spider is probably one of the most difficult to get a good shot of, because they are the only species that can clearly see you. Kudos on a job well done! Clap

i agree with the above comments. jumping spiders are hard to get good pictures of, and you've done a great job. beautiful subjects, as well, which makes your job just a little easier. but... they're spiders. what do you expect?

WOW!

scary! i hope you didn't find this in your house or anything. but at the same time, the spider is soooo pretty!

Nice macro! My favorite spider to watch as they hunt. This is a neat species...looks like it has racing stripes...:D If you have Photoshop, you can sharpen the image using the "Unsharp Mask" in the filter menu under 'sharpen'. :)
